Fully Compliant,

THC-Free CBD

Our industrial hemp is Colorado-grown and extracted in accordance within  strict guidelines. Each and every product that leaves our facility must be third-party tested to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. Our products are made with CBD that has been derived from the Hemp plant, NOT marijuana.

Unlike many of our competitors in this industry, our products contain 0.0% of the psychoactive compound THC that is found in marijuana. Although hemp cultivation and manufacturing is relatively new to the US, the manufacturing team of experts that we utilize for our products have dedicated their lives to topics such as industrial farming, soil conservation, and quality control. At CBD by Opal Legacy, we use organic farming practices — meaning absolutely no pesticides, heavy metals, herbicides, or harsh chemicals can be found in any of our products. There’s nothing we prioritize more than our customers’ well-being. We go the extra mile in personally testing all of our products to assure they are of the best quality. Every ingredient is carefully and thoughtfully selected to optimally benefit your health and wellness journey.

We hope to help remove the stigma associated with hemp cultivation and educate the nation on the healing powers of this naturally occurring compound.

We are passionate about introducing new products that will help others in exciting ways, including our product line for your four-legged loved ones that will soon be added to our collection. We won’t stop until we’re satisfied that we have something for every person, and every pet, out there. No matter what product you select, you can trust that each of our products are crafted with care every step of the way.

We want to leave behind a legacy of helping people become the best possible version of themselves.

What is CBD?

The Healing Power of Nature

CBD is the single most prominent, naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in industrial hemp plants and is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect".  This means that you will not become intoxicated if you consume CBD. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered. It is known for supporting the body and mind in various ways. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of over 113 cannabinoids identified and found in the cannabis sativa plant, which has two primary species: hemp and cannabis. Both hemp and cannabis contain CBD, but there's a much higher percentage of CBD in hemp. Our products are made with CBD that has been derived from hemp, not marijuana. Our products contain 0.0% of the psychoactive compound THC that is found in marijuana.

Is CBD by Opal Legacy Marijuana?

No. CBD by Opal Legacy is derived from hemp plants, not marijuana. Our products contain 0.0% of the psychoactive compound THC that is found in marijuana. We are diligent about providing products that are THC-free and safe for all of our customers to take, no matter what age or career path. Our products will not make you fail a drug screening or negatively affect your performance at work. By definition, hemp is not allowed to contain more than .3% THC. By contrast, hemp naturally has higher levels of CBD, the non-psychoactive compound known for helping human bodies maintain health and overall wellness

Will CBD by Opal Legacy Show Up On A Drug Test?

CBD by Opal Legacy does not contain the cannabinoid THC. However, much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive drug test for opioids, the consumption of certain hemp products may lead to a positive drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is inherently present in trace amounts in hemp plants. The legal limit of THC in hemp is no more than 0.3%. It’s important to understand that the underlying science behind the conversion of certain cannabinoids to other related cannabinoids when consumed is not yet fully understood. If you are subject to drug testing we strongly suggest consulting your health care provider before consuming any hemp products because individual biochemistry, the potential for the conversion of cannabinoids, and the possibility of trace, but legal, amounts of THC inherent in hemp products are all factors to consider. We are unable to legally state whether or not one of our customers will pass a drug test for any of our products. If that is a concern, we recommend doing some further research before making the decision to consume any CBD product.

How does CBD work?

The human body has a vast network of receptors, called the Endocannabinoid System. The purpose of this system is to help our body stay balanced and in good overall health, even when external factors and certain lifestyle choices diminish our wellbeing. CBD and other cannabinoids fit into the receptors of the Endocannabinoid System, helping the body complete its efforts to keep us in good health by supporting many of the body’s physical processes.

What Are The Benefits of CBD?

Many people integrate CBD into their health routine to support their cellular and molecular health. CBD, or cannabidiol, is just one of over 80+ cannabinoids that can be extracted from hemp. In fact, scientists found that these plant compounds have a better effect on the body when they work together, rather than alone. This means that CBD and all those other great compounds can support the body more fully than just CBD. And how, exactly, do they provide support to the body?

Among the many benefits that our users experience, some of the main ones are: a sense of calm for focus; relief from everyday stresses; help in recovery from exercise-induced inflammation; and support for healthy sleep cycles. CBD by Opal Legacy is a full-spectrum cannabinoid extract with CBD and other cannabinoids and beneficial plant compounds like terpenes and flavonoids. Since research shows that using the whole plant maximizes benefits delivered throughout the body and supplies additional wellness components, we make sure to give you as much of Mother Nature’s goodness as we can.

Frequently asked questions

Is CBD Legal?

All products at CBD by Opal Legacy are legal because they are derived explicitly from hemp, and no prescription is required. Our products are legal for air transport and we ship discreetly to all 50 states.

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are both cannabis, however hemp has under 0.3% THC. Although CBD can be found in marijuana, it is not legal in marijuana. CBD from hemp is legal. Hemp is cannabis that grows as nature intended, and it’s naturally rich in cannabidiol (CBD), while most marijuana is carefully cultivated to be high in THC and low in CBD. When hemp is grown from specific cannabis varieties that have even higher levels of CBD naturally, it doesn’t make legal or practical sense to obtain CBD from marijuana. Through a combination of our unique cultivation, advanced plant genetics and growing techniques, an exceptionally high percentage of CBD can be produced naturally and consistently in the hemp plant. And through the application of proprietary technologies, we have perfected a means of extracting CBD from hemp with an almost 99% purity rate, creating legal and non-psychoactive CBD-rich hemp oil. Because the federal government considers hemp distinct from marijuana, cannabinoids found naturally in hemp oil and hemp products face no legal restrictions and may be freely imported to the United States and in most of the industrialized world. At CBD by Opal Legacy, all of our products are derived from agricultural hemp and are the best way to obtain the benefits of the cannabis plant legally.
